How shall I take care of my sleeping bag?
Textile materials from which the sleeping bag is fabricated are conceived for regular washing and cleaning. By observing these instructions, you will reach the best results in cleaning and maintaining.

  • ventilate the sleeping bag in open state after every usage.
  • clean the stains with lukewarm soapy water. Use the sponge if it is necessary. Gradually remove the soil when cleaning bigger contamination
  • in case of exceptionally dirty surface, it is possible to wash the sleeping bag by following these instructions:
    • wash it in large scale washing machines with a rotating drum - DO NOT USE whirlpool washing machines
    • use warm water - not hot
    • store the sleeping bag, always clean and dry, in a dry place to extend its life
  • We do not recommend chemical cleaning because it may reduce qualities such as water repellency and insulation

How shall I take care of my tent?
After each usage, it is necessary to clean the tent properly and dry it before storing. It is only possible to clean the tent with lukewarm water or else the coating will be damaged. It is possible to extend the life of the tent and groundsheet by applying regular impregnation treatment products designed for this purpose. A repair kit is supplied with every tent for dealing with possible repairs in case of an unexpected problem, such as rupture of the material and so forth. This repair set contains a part of the segment of a spare rod, a piece of the material used on the particular tent and glue.

How shall I take care of my backpack?
Store the backpack only in a dry state after usage. Humidity helps create mould, which can damage and weaken the fibres of material over time. The backpack should be stored out of reach of very high temperatures, oxidizers, bleaches and direct sunlight. If the backpack is really dirty, wash it in hand with liquid soap and lukewarm water, rinse well and let it dry in the air. Never wash in a washing machine and tumble dry.

What does the possibility to join two sleeping bags together mean?
Joinability is a possibility to join two sleeping bags together by zippers. However, it is necessary to have a sleeping bag with a left and right zipper and to have two sleeping bags of the same length. If you require this, type this in a note to your order.

What length of sleeping bags is all right?
A sleeping bag should be at least more than 15 cm longer than is the person who is sleeping in it.

What is the load limit of backpacks?
City backpacks 10-12 kg, Cycling backpacks 7 kg, Tourist backpacks 15 kg, Expedition backpacks 25 kg.The load limit of course depends on the volume of backpack, and these values are only approximate.

How to wash the sleeping bags?
If it is necessary to wash the sleeping bag, it is convenient to use liquid washing powder and you should not spin-dry it.

Is it possible to use impregnation on the tent?
Yes, it is. It is possible to use silicon impregnation which creates a silicon surface that is then far more resistant.

How to store the sleeping bags?
It is best to store the sleeping bag by hanging it, but if you do not have space for it, it is suitable to have the sleeping bag tightly packed, not rolled up, to prevent bending of fibres.If it is a feather sleeping bag, it is again advisable to leave it hanging or at least tightly packed in a storage bag (not compression bag), which is included in the package.

How to wash softshell and jackets with membrane?
It is best to use special impregnation products which you can buy in specialized outdoor shops. It is important to wash it at minimal temperature and in hand and you should not spin-dry it. In exceptional situations it is possible to use liquid washing powder. DO NOT EVER USE FABRIC SOFTENER!!

How to wash feather jackets and vests?
It is possible to have feather articles cleaned in cleaning shop or wash them with a soft hand-washing program, at minimal temperature. Do not spin-dry and let them dry while evenly spread.
